Position: Accounts Payable Clerk

Location: Livermore, CA (Onsite)

Pay Rate: $25/hour

Employment Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire

About the Role

Our client, a well-established company in Livermore, is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to support day-to-day accounting operations. This role is ideal for someone with at least one year of accounting or AP experience who's looking to further develop their skills in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Process high-volume vendor invoices with accuracy and timeliness.

• Match purchase orders, invoices, and receipts for verification.

• Review and code invoices to the correct GL accounts and cost centers.

• Prepare and process weekly check runs, ACH, and wire payments.

• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.

• Maintain organized AP records and ensure proper documentation for audits.

• Assist with month-end closing tasks related to accounts payable.

• Communicate professionally with internal departments and vendors regarding payment inquiries.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in Accounts Payable or general accounting.

• Working knowledge of MS Dynamics or similar ERP systems preferred.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general office applications.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a deadline-driven environment.
