Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver CAD drafting and design services to support engineers and project managers in all phases of facility projects.
• Use AutoCAD Civil 3D (and related software) to prepare and edit drawings, apply markups, produce final labeled deliverables, and maintain contract documents.
• Ensure all drafting work aligns with company standards, regulatory codes, and quality requirements.
• Collect and verify field data needed to produce accurate drawings.
• Review drawings for accuracy and completeness before release.
• Coordinate design details with engineers, surveyors, and project teams.
• Work with facility occupants and support groups to define scope requirements for small projects and engineering requests.
• Maintain both digital drawing archives and physical plan files.
• Incorporate “as-built” documentation into official facility records following project completion.
• Develop an understanding of existing building systems and infrastructure to propose layouts for new equipment or facility modifications.
• Apply technical knowledge of building codes, engineering practices, and company EHS standards when developing designs.
• Provide technical input for internal specification compliance.
• Perform other drafting or project-support activities as needed to meet departmental and organizational goals.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and standard drafting practices.
• Experience producing electrical, mechanical, architectural, or site drawings.
• Ability to work accurately under deadlines with minimal supervision.
