Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Civil Designer. The Civil Designer will be responsible for preparing construction plans for various types of projects, including land development, grading, drainage, utility, and roadway projects. The Civil Designer will also be responsible for collaborating with other design professionals such as engineers, architects, and surveyors to ensure project design is integrated and compatible with all aspects of the project.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years experience in civil design and drafting with CAD software, such as AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Knowledge of civil engineering design principles for projects such as grading, drainage, utility and roadway projects
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in team environments

Requirements

• Although the position is predominantly remote, preference will be given to candidates residing within Utah. This is to facilitate occasional in-person team meetings and team-building exercises, which are integral to building a solid foundation for a rapidly expanding business.
