The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for an Estimator on behalf of a well-established and rapidly growing structural concrete / shell contractor based in the South Florida region. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join a dynamic and professional team working on residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments.

As an Estimator, you will play a key role in pricing and bidding structural and shell construction projects, collaborating closely with internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely and competitive proposals.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze drawings, specifications, and project documents to prepare detailed cost estimates.
• Perform material quantity takeoffs for concrete, masonry, formwork, and rebar.
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations.
• Prepare and present complete bid packages for review.
• Track market pricing and industry trends to inform estimating strategies.
• Work collaboratively with project managers and the leadership team throughout the bid and preconstruction process.

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of experience in estimating within the structural concrete, shell, or general contracting sectors.
• Proficient in construction estimating software and digital takeoff tools (e.g., Bluebeam, PlanSwift, or similar).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret architectural and structural drawings.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• A self-starter with the ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously under tight deadlines.
