About the Position

At Goodwin Living, our cooks provide a pleasurable dining experience for residents by preparing high quality food. They manage all aspects of food preparation and production in an environment that meets sanitation guidelines. 

The pay is $20-$23/hr  depending on experience.

The shift is afternoon/evenings

Job Duties

• Assisting with stocking and setting up the kitchen station.
• Preparing food including cleaning and cutting the ingredients and cooking main dishes, desserts, appetizers and snacks.
• Plating prepared foods based on the chef’s guidance.
• Working with servers to ensure that orders are completed according to request and on time.
• Ensuring that the kitchen operation procedures and hygiene meet food safety standards and regulations.

Job Requirements

• High school degree or equivalent 
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Experience as line cook in a Health Care Facility is a plus
