About The Role

The Diligence Strategy Associate is responsible for conducting operational and financial assessments of potential and existing healthcare investments. This role involves strategic planning, performance analysis, resource evaluation, and ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory standards. The Associate plays a key role in supporting investment decisions and driving operational efficiency across healthcare facilities, including hospitals, clinics, and affiliated organizations.

Responsibilities

  • Research market trends and competitive landscapes to identify growth opportunities'
  • Conduct financial, operational, and market due diligence on potential investments and acquisitions.
  • Build financial models and valuations (DCF, LBO, comps) to support deal analysis.
  • Prepare investment memos and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with finance, legal, and operations teams to assess risks and identify value drivers.
  • Manage data rooms, coordinate third-party advisors, and support deal execution.
  • Track portfolio performance post-acquisition and assist in value creation initiatives.

Requirements

  • Must have Healthcare Experience
  • High attention to detail, strategic mindset, and team-oriented approach.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or related field; MBA or Master’s preferred.
  • 2–4 years’ experience in investment banking, private equity, or transaction advisory.
  • Transaction/Integration for healthcare company experience
  • Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.

Additional Information

The expected base pay for this role will be between $110,000 and $150,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay will be determined on an individualized basis and will be impacted by location and years of experience. Further, base pay is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Psychplus Health-sponsored benefits.
