Job Description
A recognized healthcare network in Westchester County, NY is actively seeking a licensed APP Hospitalist for a promising opportunity at one of their state-of-the-art facilities.
About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: 12-15 shifts per month (including weekends & holidays)
- Hours: 7pm to 7am
- Setting: Inpatient
- Patient Volume: 15 per shift
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate inpatient care for hospitalized patients
- Utilize hospital resources to ensure high-quality service delivery
- Facilitate communication among patients, families, private attending physicians, consulting physicians, hospital staff, and colleagues
- Focus on reducing and maintaining the average patient length of stay
- Respond to urgent or emergent patient matters within the hospital as needed
Qualifications:
- NYS Nurse Practitioner (NP) and/or Physician Assistant (PA) license
