We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our Atlas Logistics Team as an Account Manager! The Account Manager in Atlas Logistics is a fully competent and productive team member responsible for project management and building and maintaining the overall relationship with the customer. This role works independently on larger, more complex accounts and is the liaison between the customer and the location storing the products. The role is responsible for maintaining the budget and coordinating the delivery of goods in a timely manner with a high level of focus on quality and service throughout.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for day-to-day servicing, profitability, and budgeting of assigned accounts.
  • Work with warehouses and other support services to set up and monitor customer projects to ensure that projects are handled efficiently and professionally.
  • Responsible for ensuring that assigned accounts are receiving all agreed to documentation in a timely manner.
  • Provide timely quotations to customers or to prospective customers through our sales department.
  • Responsible for negotiating prices with warehouses and customers that are competitive and produce maximum returns.
  • Responsible for resolving disputes and/or claims with assigned accounts.
  • Design and implement procedures to service assigned Logistics accounts.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

What You'll Need:

  • High School Diploma/Equivalent. Associate degree preferred.
  • 2-4 years' job-related experience and/or a combination of both education and experience are required.
  • Excellent reasoning ability
  • Effective problem-solving, organizational, analytical, oral and communication skills
  • Knowledge of Database, Spreadsheet, and Word Processing software such as Microsoft Office
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, agents, and other outside organizations.
  • Must be self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
