We’re partnering with our client, a well-established and respected trucking company that is expanding its Central Dispatch group and hiring for an experienced Load Planner . This is a newly created role due to growth and a new initiative for the company. We're looking for someone who brings high energy, a service-excellence and detail-driven mindset to their work. This role is essential to ensuring loads are scheduled accurately, routed efficiently, and communicated clearly across drivers and customers.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Planning and assigning daily freight loads based on customer needs and available capacity
• Monitoring in-transit loads and adjusting as conditions change
• Minimizing empty miles and improving routing efficiency
• Communicating updates to drivers, internal leaders, and customers
• Ensuring compliance with DOT regulations and company policies
• Accurately documenting load details, schedules, and performance data
• Assisting with issue resolution related to delays, equipment, or routing

What Makes Someone Successful in This Role

• 2+ years of experience in dispatch, logistics, or transportation (preferred)
• Experience with both dry and liquid bulk transportation a plus!
• Strong attention to detail and comfort managing multiple moving parts
• Clear, steady communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced operations environment
• Familiarity with dispatch systems, GPS tracking, and Microsoft Office
• Understanding of DOT regulations
