We are seeking skilled Industrial Maintenance Technicians to join the plant maintenance department. These roles are critical in ensuring production efficiency and machinery reliability. Shifts
- 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure operation of machinery and equipment by completing preventive maintenance on motors, pneumatics, conveyor systems, and production machines.
- Follow diagrams, operations manuals, manufacturer instructions, and engineering specifications to troubleshoot and repair malfunctions.
- Locate sources of problems by observing equipment in operation, listening for irregularities, and using precision measuring/testing instruments.
- Adjust and repair functional parts of devices and control instruments using hand tools and measuring equipment.
- Minimize downtime by advising production staff on preventive maintenance techniques and monitoring compliance.
- Fabricate repair parts using machine shop instrumentation and equipment.
- Maintain accurate maintenance reports by collecting and analyzing data.
- Support safe and clean operations by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and troubleshoot 110 VAC, 240/480 VAC 3-phase systems.
- Contribute to team goals by accomplishing related tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- Ability to work 2nd or 3rd shift schedules, including weekends.
- Strong math, communication, and technical reading skills (manuals, safety instructions, warning signs).
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Skilled in welding/brazing, operating lathes, milling machines, and other shop equipment.
- Ability to work in tight spaces, climb ladders/scaffolds, and handle physically demanding tasks.
- Strong hand-eye coordination, mobility, reflexes, and dexterity (including work at ceiling heights).
- Adequate vision and hearing to detect equipment malfunctions and warning signals.
