Requirements:
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, SOPs, MSDSs, and technical documents
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively
• Strong initiative and follow-through
• Works well independently and as part of a team
• Excellent customer service skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; SAP experience a plus
• Able to lift and move up to 25 lbs and transport hazardous waste within the facilit
Responsibilities:
• Perform laboratory analyses and tests to diagnose illnesses and diseases in animals
• Process specimens, retrieve and release test results, and assist in test research
• Conduct instrument test protocols for new and existing products
• Maintain lab schedules and communicate any changes
• Manage lab inventory, procure supplies, and stock materials
• Maintain cleanliness of lab equipment and work areas
• Support various lab systems, processes, and databases
• Collect and analyze data; maintain accurate records
• Transcribe and edit dictated medical reports using dictation software
• Perform administrative tasks such as answering phones, preparing deliveries, filing requisitions, and supporting billing and sample transport activities
