Location: Bronx, New York.
Employment Type: Full-time or Part-time, (fully on-site).
Salary: Full-time: $240,000 - $260,000 / yr; Part-time: $120 - $140 / hr.

We are seeking a Medical Director specializing in Addiction Medicine to lead their substance use treatment program in a multi-specialty practice in the Bronx, NY. Qualifications:

• Education: MD or DO with completed Addiction Medicine Fellowship.
• Licensure: Active New York State Medical License.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in addiction medicine; leadership experience preferred.
• Requirements: Active Medicaid provider number; Active DEA certification.
• Language: Spanish proficiency preferred.
• Technical Skills: Knowledge of addiction treatment modalities, program development.
• Soft Skills: Leadership, cultural competence, empathy, strong communication, collaborative approach.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical leadership and oversight for the addiction medicine program.
• Develop and implement treatment protocols and quality standards.
• Supervise clinical staff and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Provide direct patient care, including medication-assisted treatment.
• Maintain active Medicaid provider status and DEA certification.
• Collaborate with community partners and referral sources.
• Ensure culturally competent care for a diverse patient population.
