Job Description: Production Manager Residential Flooring

My client is seeking a Production Manager to join its award winning team. Our ideal candidate has a strong floor covering background and enjoys working with the public in a casual but professional atmosphere.

• Position: Production Manager
• Location: Denver CO
• Duties: Operations, Flooring Job Assembly
• Relationships: Direct reporting General Manager

Role involves:

• The Production Manager oversees the operational flow from sales order to final customer delivery, ensuring that carpet cutting, binding, scheduling, and installation are executed accurately, on time, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to coordinate between sales, warehouse, installation crews, and customers.
• Job costing and production

Must have:

• Strong email and phone communication skills; able to respond promptly and professionally to customers and team members.
• Exceptional attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in all tasks.
• Highly organized, able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
• Positive, team-oriented attitude with a commitment to excellent customer service.
• Proficient with basic computer applications and able to learn industry-specific software quickly.
• Computer literacy
• Math skills: ability to generate cost estimates
• Ability to work well with others. The company has a tight knit and friendly team, we want to hire folks that are easy to work with!

Nice to have:

• Flooring industry knowledge is preferred, but not required—willing to train the right candidate.
• Carpet layout and scope of work
• RFMS software familiarity
