Job Summary

GHR Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and skilled Radiation Therapist for premier health system in Philadelphia, PA 19128!

Local Rate: $59-62/hr

Travel: $2610 gross per week

Schedule: M-F 8 hour day shift. (FLEX between 6am-5pm)

Job Description

• Administer radiation therapy treatments to patients according to established protocols and physician orders.
• Collaborate with oncologists and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment, ensuring proper functionality and safety measures are in place.
• Conduct patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and performing physical examinations as needed.
• Educate patients about the treatment process, potential side effects, and post-treatment care.
• Monitor patients during therapy sessions for any adverse reactions or complications.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Stay current with advancements in radiation therapy techniques and technologies.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Radiation Therapy or a related field is preferred.
• Certification as a Radiation Therapist from an accredited program.
• ARRT
• 2 years' experience in Radiation Therapy, Proton and/or CT/SIMS a plus
• Will be paired with an experienced Rad Tech and training on 1 machine
