Pay Range: $33 - $59/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• Exemplary Practice & Patient Outcomes
• Perform the full nursing process using evidence-based practice.
• Provide relationship-based, patient-centered care tailored to age, diagnosis, and cultural needs.
• Partner with patients and families through teaching, updates, and collaborative care planning.
• Practice according to current clinical standards and nursing guidelines.
• Teamwork & Collaboration
• Coordinate delivery of safe, high-quality nursing care.
• Use interdisciplinary communication methods (rounds, case reviews, collaborative planning).
• Participate in system-wide performance improvement and shared governance.
• Support team retention, engagement, and efficient unit operations.
• Professional Development & Initiative
• Complete all required education, competencies, and population-specific trainings.
• Serve as a preceptor or mentor for nurses, students, and other disciplines.
• Contribute to a healthy, professional work environment.
• Evidence-Based Practice & Research
• Promote and participate in evidence-based practice and research utilization.
• Engage in product evaluation and clinical decision-making processes.
• Follow all legal, regulatory, accreditation, and safety standards.
• Assist with data collection and application of research findings to practice questions.
• Resources & Support
• Plan proactively for patient needs across the care continuum.
• Collaborate to develop protocols and procedures for improved patient outcomes.
• Support efficient use of resources and reduction of preventable events.
• Other Duties
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
• Comply with all organizational policies and codes of conduct.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Key Skills;Ability to perform the full nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation)
• Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
• Ability to deliver individualized, culturally competent patient care
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Ability to mentor, precept, and support developing nurses
• Understanding of evidence-based practice and application in clinical care
• Ability to coordinate care across the continuum
• Strong teamwork orientation and ability to work within interdisciplinary teams
• Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Licensure & Certifications (required upon hire):
• Active RN License (Single-State of Georgia or Compact)
• BLS (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
• Experience:
• Direct patient care experience (less than 1 year acceptable; more preferred)
• Additional Requirements:
• Ability to work night shift (for this specific role)
• Ability to deliver individualized care in a fast-paced acute care environment
• Commitment to Hospital care standards, safety policies, and code of conduct
