Roofing Superintendent Position Overview The Roofing Superintendent will oversee and manage roofing projects from inception to completion, ensuring that all work is performed to the highest standards of quality and safety. This role involves coordinating with subcontractors, managing schedules, and ensuring compliance with government regulations in commercial and industrial settings.
Key Responsibilities - Supervise roofing projects and ensure timely completion within budget
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth operations
- Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
- Manage project schedules and report on progress to stakeholders
- Implement best practices for waterproofing and low slope roofing techniques
- Oversee installation of sheet metal roofing and other roofing materials
- Train and mentor staff on roofing techniques and safety procedures
Qualifications - Proven experience as a Roofing Superintendent or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of roofing systems, waterproofing, and construction practices
- Strong understanding of government regulations and compliance in construction
- Experience in commercial and industrial roofing projects
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
