Scheduler – Contract (Primavera P6)

Location: Greater Houston, TX

Start Date: Within 1–2 weeks

Duration: 3–4 months (potential to convert to permanent)

Industry: Civil Engineering / Marine Infrastructure

Position Summary:

Seeking a highly skilled Scheduler with current Primavera P6 experience to support a newly awarded civil infrastructure project. The ideal candidate will be able to hit the ground running with P6 on day one and bring strong civil project scheduling expertise—preferably with federal and/or marine harbor or pier experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 .
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field teams to ensure alignment with project timelines and deliverables.
• Monitor project progress and adjust schedules as needed to reflect changes in scope or execution.
• Identify scheduling risks and provide mitigation strategies.
• Support document control processes and maintain schedule-related documentation.
• Participate in project meetings and provide schedule updates and reports.

Required Qualifications:

• Strong, current experience with Primavera P6 (must be actively using it—not outdated experience).
• Proven background in civil engineering projects .
• Ability to start contributing with P6 immediately—no ramp-up time.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Experience:

• Federal project experience (e.g., USACE, NAVFAC).
• Exposure to marine infrastructure such as harbors or piers.
• Familiarity with document control systems and workflows.

Not a Fit If:

• Your background is primarily in process plant planning —this role is focused on civil .
