About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Fabricator for a full-time, on-site position in Owensboro, KY. The Fabricator will be responsible for reading and interpreting blueprints, and operating various machines to cut, bend, and weld metal components to precise specifications.
This role plays a key part in producing high-quality fabricated metal products, maintaining equipment, ensuring compliance with project specifications, and collaborating with team members to meet deadlines. A strong commitment to safety and quality is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine fabrication requirements
Set up and operate machinery used for cutting, bending, and welding metal parts
Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality and specification standards
Perform routine maintenance on fabrication equipment and tools
Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
Qualifications:
Proven experience in metal fabrication, including cutting, bending, and welding
Ability to accurately read and interpret blueprints and drawings
Familiarity with operating and maintaining fabrication equipment
Knowledge of quality control and inspection processes
Strong attention to detail with effective problem-solving skills
Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
Commitment to workplace safety and compliance with guidelines
High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade certification is a plus
