Position Overview The Sheet Metal Foreman will oversee and coordinate the activities of the sheet metal fabrication and installation team. This role is critical in ensuring that sheet metal duct systems are constructed, installed, and repaired according to specifications and industry standards, while also leading teams and managing project timelines effectively.
Key Responsibilities - Supervise and manage the sheet metal fabrication and installation team.
- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate production and installation of sheet metal duct systems.
- Oversee the repair and maintenance of existing sheet metal duct systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Coordinate with project managers and other trades to ensure project timelines are met.
- Train and mentor junior team members on best practices and techniques in sheet metal work.
Qualifications - Proven experience as a Sheet Metal Foreman or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication and installation techniques.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
- Experience with repairing and maintaining duct systems.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
