Position Summary:

At The Lake Vacation Rentals is seeking a licensed real estate agent (or someone willing to obtain NH licensing within the first six months) to join our vacation rental team. This is a unique opportunity to manage and grow an existing book of business within the Lakes Region’s leading vacation rental firm. In this role, you’ll build long-term relationships with vacation homeowners to help them achieve their income objectives, and work with guests to plan memorable Lakes Region vacations, delivering exceptional service throughout their stay. Key Responsibilities:

List Vacation Homes for Rent

  • Establish and manage strong relationships with local vacation homeowners and advise owners on strategies to maximize occupancy and revenue.
  • Market listed homes using company-funded marketing channels
  • Maintain accurate property information, pricing, and calendar availability in PMS system.
  • Review performance with homeowners, and provide strategic recommendations on an on-going basis

Book and Manage Guest Reservations

  • Take in-office “floor time” on a rotating basis to handle inbound inquiries via phone, email, and website leads.
  • Educate potential guests about our vacation properties and assist them in selecting the right home for their stay.
  • Convert inquiries to confirmed bookings while accurately quoting rates, fees, and policies.
  • Manage guest payments and reservation details within our PMS.
  • Assist in pre-stay and post-stay preparation of properties for rent (including on-site property tours, communication and coordination with independent contractors and vendors).

Provide Superior Guest Service

  • Welcome guests and manage check-ins, check-outs, and in-stay communications via phone, email and in-person.
  • Handle guest inquires and promptly resolve guest issues by coordinating with homeowners, third-party vendors, our in-house cleaning coordinator and maintenance personnel.
  • Carry the emergency cell phone on a rotating basis (every fourth week) during peak summer months to handle after-hours emergency calls. Guests are educated on what constitutes an emergency, keeping these calls to a minimum.
  • Uphold company service standards and ensure a seamless experience for both guests and homeowners.

Required Qualifications:

  • NH Real Estate License ( or willingness to obtain within 6 months of hire ).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable with technology and able to learn property management software.
  • Professional, team-oriented attitude with the ability to work independently.
  • Experience in hospitality, vacation rentals, real estate, or customer service preferred.

Compensation & Benefits:

Compensation - Competitive base salary from $45,000.00 per year. Tremendous potential for career growth and increased earnings as your homeowner and guest portfolio grows

Work Schedule:

Fall, Winter & Spring

  • In-office three (3) days per week; ability to work remotely from home two (2) days per week. Typical working hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
  • Rotate in-office floor time with three other agents, including covering the office every fourth Saturday from 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM. (Office closed Sundays.)

Summer (June, July, August)

  • Rotate in-office time with three other agents.
  • In-office four (4) days per week including each Saturday and every other Sunday during the summer. Ability to work remotely from home one (1) day per week.

Summer office hours:

  • Sunday–Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Saturday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM to facilitate guest check-ins and check-outs.
