We are seeking an experienced Preconstruction Manager to join a growing construction team in Charlotte, NC. This role is ideal for a seasoned construction professional with a strong background in preconstruction planning, estimating, and project management. The Senior Preconstruction Manager will play a critical role in shaping projects from concept through bid, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and successful execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead preconstruction efforts for commercial, multifamily, and institutional projects.
• Develop accurate cost estimates, budgets, and detailed material takeoffs.
• Collaborate closely with project teams, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to define project scope and requirements.
• Assist in bid preparation, proposal development, and client presentations.
• Conduct preconstruction meetings and provide strategic guidance to support project planning and execution.
• Ensure all preconstruction deliverables align with quality standards, budget expectations, and project schedules.
• Mentor and guide team members in preconstruction best practices and processes.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in construction preconstruction or estimating roles.
• Proven experience managing large-scale commercial, multifamily, or institutional projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and cost estimating.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with construction estimating software (e.g., ProEst, Sage, or equivalent).
