No on call requirement, no mandatory weekends!
- Live help from a nurse available 24/7 for any clinical issues that may arise in the home.
- All shadowing and training is hands on and paid! Buddy system training with thorough competencies!
- Pediatric patients available in favorable home environments located in: Leawood, Kansas City, Olathe, Overland Park, Shawnee and Leavenworth! Day shift, overnights, evenings, weekends - you name it, we've got a kiddo for you!
Brightstar Care of Overland Park is looking for a team of nurses passionate about pediatrics!

BrightStar Care is looking to build a team of nurses to provide a variety of pediatric patients with total cares. Cares will include but are not limited to: hygiene care, tube feedings, medication administration, neurological assessments, vital signs, trach care/suctioning, ventilator care and much more. Our pediatric nursing team will partner with our Director of Nursing, the patient, family and Physician to achieve successful patient outcomes.
Position Requirements:
- A current LPN/RN license in good standing
- Current CPR Certification (BLS)
- Negative TB skin test (within last year)
- Adhere to HIPAA and maintain client confidentiality
- A laptop/tablet to complete charting on
- COVID vaccination preferred but not required
